Big Bang aka YoungWildApache Biography
In his early childhood he attended Tarrant Primary School, and after he sat the GSAT Examination he was placed at Marvely All Age, St Andrew. But as fate would have it he didn’t put a foot through the gates of that institution instead his family, including his mom and brother packed their bags to live a new life in Yallahs, St Thomas. When the summer of 2004 ended Big Bang enrolled at his new school St Thomas Technical High. At first it was difficult to adapt to his new environment but his love for football and his skills saw him play both the U-14 and U-16 age-group competitions for his school. Big Bang has even played Division One Football competition, which is a Senior League, while still in high school. Even though his love for football was still there, musical was his first calling and his love for it grew stronger.
His first taste of music came at the tender age of four, as his uncle, Black Sheep who was a recording artiste, usually took him to a popular studio in Kingston. There his uncle rehearsed and taught him the skills of ‘riding’ a rhythm. He learnt fast and soon he started to square-off with his brother and children in the neighbourhood. Big Bang wants to walk in the footsteps of artistes such as Super Cat and Early Blacks who grew up in his community. Bing Bang said that Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel and Aidonia are some of the artistes that he has admired for their contribution to dancehall.
Big Bang’s first music video was done in 2011, with the emotional song, 'Life Goes On', for G3 Production.
It had a great impact for him and fans, as people could relate to the concept of the song, the feeling of losing a loved one. It had thousands of views on YouTube. 'Life Goes On' was recorded for Murda House Production in 2010. He also did recordings for Quest Records in St Thomas, Easelink and Square One records.
At present, Big Bang is associated with Affiliates Records, located in his hometown of Cockburn Gardens. Their biggest project to date is a mix tape entitled Live Change, which will have its premier next month on Night Fix, an Internet radio station.
The mix tape will include songs such as 'P@#$y Nuh Fi Bite' (featuring Diligent), and ‘No Coke Zone’.

Affiliates Records CEO, Leroy Francis, has done a lot of work to shape Big Bang as a chart topper in the near future. Big Bang said that for him to get to the next level, he needs to have his music being aired on prime time on television, cable and radio stations.
